Employment Qualifications

If you are interested in becoming an employee at Joanne Todd Christian School there are some qualifications that you need to be made aware of. For teachers they are as follows:

  • a growing Christian with a positive testimony
  • an active participant in a local church
  • a willingness to sign a statement declaring agreement with the JTCS statement of faith
  • Spiritual maturity with academic and leadership ability
  • a knowledge, training, and experience in education
  • Be certified to teach by the State of Arizona or have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • an acceptance of and belief in the JTCS vision, mission, purpose, and Christian Philosophy of Education
  • Spiritually maturing individual with academic leadership ability, which enables the teacher to train up a child in the way he/she should go

For a Teacher’s Aide instead of certification or a Bachelor’s Degree, they must have a high school diploma or equivalent
